A printed magazine and a digital document containing the data from the first stage of the comprehensive urban study Urban Vision Lutsk.
It is a database about the city and an analysis of its potential, requests from residents, and life features.
The collected research results presented in the project`s first stage serve as the basis for the Development Concept of Lutsk`s center and modeling development scenarios.
The study was conducted based on open data, online surveys, interviews and workshops with Lutsk residents, field research, and analysis of LMR documents, historical references about the city, a comprehensive environmental assessment of the city, documents regulating the preservation and protection of historical heritage, and building restrictions.
An additional component of the study is a digital 3D model of the city and a GIS database (available upon request).

Urban Study of Lutsk – Can become a foundation for every city resident to develop their own business, venture, organization, a key to understanding the moods and needs of Lutsk residents, and the most promising potentials in each district of the regional center of Volyn.
It is a survey of citizens about the old city. In their wishes and proposals, the citizens describe the atmosphere and appearance of the city, its current state, impressions, and wishes.
The task of the survey was to find out what Lutsk lacks for an interesting life, how people interact with nature, and their attitudes towards leisure, services, and memory. The goal was to create a roadmap for the renewal of the old town center based on these needs, which should be considered in future city planning.

City research exhibition and workshop on May 28, 2023
It`s a dynamic spatial concept for the central part of the city. It is based on the findings of the comprehensive urban study, data received from the Lutsk City Council, and the participatory activities of the UVL project.
This concept provides the foundation for the future sustainable growth of the city and the entire Lutsk community.
The key directions for city development are based on the UN’s sustainable development goals, existing potentials and problems of the city, historical features and identity, and sustainable and modern planning methods. The development vectors of the city center are determined jointly with the active community of the city and proposed for discussion and detailed design.
The purpose of the concept is to ensure the sustainable development of Lutsk, improve the quality of life, enhance the attractiveness of its central part, diversify economic activity, and increase the openness of the city.
